In a ceremony that was held at the British Embassy in Cairo on Thursday 8th March 2007, Omar Hassib was recognised by The University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) as a 'Top in the World' student in Economics.
Omar was awarded the "High Achievers Certificate" and received a full scholarship to attend university in Holland and study Economics. Omar is the only student in Egypt to be recognized as 'Top in the World.'
