New Horizon International School is thrilled to announce that Maria Nader- IGCSE, has achieved the prestigious Top in Egypt Cambridge Learner Award in Art and Design.

Ahmad Khaled Khairy, IGCSE graduate of 2016 received the “Mostafa Amr Fayez Award” (A special award for outstanding performance of students inspite of difficult circumstances during an examination series).         

Noureldin Ahmed Adly, IGCSE graduate of 2016 received the “High Achievement Award” for General Paper AS Level in the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards.
 

Sarah Nabil Ghali, IGCSE graduate of 2013 received the “High Achievement Award” for Sociology AS Level Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards held at the British Embassy in Cairo.
 

Sara Farrag's entry in the annual essay competition was selected by the managing editor at the Egyptian Gazette, and the winning essay with photo was published in the print edition of December 8, 2012.

Maggi Ihab Maher Shafik, IGCSE graduate of 2012 received the award for Outstanding Cambridge Learner in Egypt for her excellence in Business Studies Advanced Level.
 

In a ceremony that was held at the British Embassy in Cairo on Thursday 8th March 2007, Omar Hassib was recognised by The University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) as a 'Top in the World' student in Economics.

Omar was awarded the "High Achievers Certificate" and received a full scholarship to attend university in Holland and study Economics. Omar is the only student in Egypt to be recognized as 'Top in the World.' 

The ECIS Student Award for International Understanding is granted to students with a positive attitude toward the life and culture of others, a good representative of his/her country, a contributing force in the life of the school, thus furthering the cause of international understanding.

The Jubilee Scholarship is awarded yearly, by the British Council, to students in recognition of their academic endeavours and personal contribution to their school and local community. Winners attend summer school in the United Kingdom, together with students from all parts of the world.

In May 2004 the Cambridge MENA Essay competition selected 12 students to receive prizes from over 150 entries representing students at Cambridge Centres across the region.

Hadir Marie received third prize for her essay titled “How does an International education with Cambridge improve your understanding of the world?”
